Connect Instagram to PishDast

Connect your Instagram Business or Creator account to receive DMs, comments, and story replies directly in PishDast.

Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure you have:

1. Instagram Business or Creator Account - Personal accounts cannot be connected
2. Facebook Page - Your Instagram must be linked to a Facebook Page
3. Admin access to the Facebook Page

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Go to Workspace Settings

1. Open your PishDast dashboard
2. Click on Settings in the sidebar
3. Select the Channels tab

Step 2: Click Connect Instagram

Click the Connect Instagram button. You'll be redirected to Facebook for authorization.

Step 3: Log in to Facebook

1. Log in with your Facebook account
2. Make sure this account has admin access to the Page linked to your Instagram

Step 4: Select Your Instagram Account

1. Choose the Instagram Business account you want to connect
2. Select the Facebook Page linked to this Instagram account
3. Grant all requested permissions

Step 5: Confirm Connection

After authorization, you'll be redirected back to PishDast. Your Instagram account should now appear as connected.

Required Permissions

PishDast needs these permissions to work properly:

Troubleshooting

"Instagram account not found"

Make sure your Instagram is:

• A Business or Creator account (not Personal)
• Linked to a Facebook Page
• The Facebook account you're using has admin access

"Permission denied"

1. Go to Facebook Business Settings
2. Check that all required permissions are granted
3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting

Messages not appearing

1. Check your subscription status in Settings > Channels
2. Make sure webhook is active
3. Try sending a test message to your Instagram
